            we have also learnt that the first stage in the analysis of a sentence is to divide it in ti two main parts- the Subject and the Predicate; as,

       i) The flames spread in every direction( Here 'The flames'-subject and 'Spread in every direction'-predicate).

        ii)The boys made Shahin captain.(Here 'The boys'- subject and 'made Shahin captain'-Predicate).

        iii)The sun gives light ( Here 'The sun"- Subject and 'gives light'-Predicate).
